Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) Chairman Mohamed Omran and Suez Canal Authority (SCA) Chairman Osama Rabie have both been reappointed for one-year terms by President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, according to an announcement in Sunday’s Official Gazette. Omran was first appointed to run the FRA, then known as the EFSA, on an interim basis in 2017, and was made the full-time chairman in 2018. Rabie has been head of the SCA for two years.

The news comes one day after Mohamed Farid was reappointed for a second four-year term as chairman of the Egytpian Exchange.
