🥯 With Eid now over, we’re expected to jump straight back into work mode — and we can’t have that without a proper snack, can we now? When it comes to midday munching, you want something that’s light enough not to trigger a food coma, and filling enough to spare you the sound of your own stomach rumbling. It’s a fine balance, and one we were able to find at Molly’s Bakery.
Cairo has no shortage of bakeries, and that’s perhaps why Molly’s stands out. With the glitz and experience of an established franchise, baked in with the homey feel of a family-owned biz, Molly’s offers the best of both worlds. On the menu, you’ll find all the classic pastries, croissants, and sweet goodies, as well as a selection of sandwiches, wraps, and pizzas. If your cravings hit you earlier in the day, Molly’s also serves up a mean breakfast, with a variety of egg concoctions up for grabs. Naturally, all your favorite brews are ready to be served, too.
When it comes to coffee, Molly’s knows how to whip one up — the flat whites are strong, the Spanish lattes are just sweet enough, and the matcha delivers on both the flavor and consistency fronts. For our meals, we opted for the roast beef melt with caramelized onion as well as the sriracha tuna mix. Quite frankly, we went in with little expectations, only to be met with greatness. Both sandwiches were incredibly fresh (thanks in no small part to the bread), flavorful, and filling, and while the tuna held its own, it was the roast beef that earned our love (and elicited a second order).
All day, every day: If you’re looking for a light dinner, an early morning snack, or a midday treat, and find yourself tired of the usual culprits, we’d urge you to give Molly’s a try. The bakery also offers bite boxes with mini sandwiches, croissants, and other sweet treats, if you’re looking to meal prep ahead.
WHERE TO GET IT- You can order from Molly’s Bakery through Talabat. You can also find Molly Bakery in Maadi, Nasr City, and Sheraton.
