Dominating the conversation on Egypt this morning: The Tourism Ministry hasreopened the tomb of Pharaoh Amenhotep III in Luxor’s Valley of the Kings after more than two decades of Japanese-led restorations. The reopening comes just weeks before the Grand Egyptian Museum’s official launch. The tomb dates back more than 3k years and its restoration efforts are meant to attract more tourists.
