Starting strong: The crispy chicken appetizer is a standout that shouldn’t be missed. It delivers that coveted social media-worthy crunch, but still manages to be juicy on the inside. It pairs beautifully with just about any dish or sauce you throw at it. The vegetable spring rolls are another W, striking just the right balance between filling and wrapper. But we’re sad to say that the wontons failed that test, with too much dough and not enough filling to make them memorable.

The main event: The sweet and sour chicken is excellent, with a tangy, well-balanced and flavorful sauce that hits the spot. The kung pao chicken has great flavor, but leans a little too close to the sweet and sour profile without bringing the heat you’d typically expect. The teriyaki chicken is another highlight — perfectly glazed and packed with flavor. If you’re looking for more surf than turf, the sweet and sour shrimp is a solid choice, with generous portions of fresh shrimp every bit as satisfying as the poultry version.
