The EGX30 rose 1.2% at today’s close on turnover of EGP 4.3 bn (3.5% below the 90-day average). Local investors were the sole net sellers. The index is up 19.0% YTD.

In the green: Eastern Company (+7.4%), EFG Holding (+4.7%), and Orascom Construction (+4.0%).

In the red: Arabian Cement (-2.9%), Madinet Masr (-2.4%), and Abou Qir Fertilizers (-2.2%).
