What the markets are doing on 2 September 2025

The EGX30 fell marginally at today’s close on turnover of EGP 4.0 bn (9.4% below the 90-day average). International investors were the sole net buyers. The index is up 18.2% YTD.

In the green: Abu Qir Fertilizers (+2.4%), Ibnsina Pharma (+1.8%), and Mopco (+1.7%).

In the red: Eastern Company (-2.1%), Orascom Construction (-2.1%), and Orascom Development (-1.8%).
