⚽ We hope you’re ready for a weekend packed with sports. The official league seasons are kicking off in England, Spain, and France, while fans of the German and Italian leagues will have to wait until next weekend.
The second round of the Egyptian Premier League begins today with a match between El Ittihad and Modern Sport at 6pm. At 9pm, Tala’ea El Gaish will play against El Masry, and Pyramids will face off against Ismaily.
El Ahly, the defending and all-time champion, will host Pharco at 9pm on Friday. As for Zamalek, they’ll play against El Mokawloon on Saturday at 9pm, coinciding with the match between Ghazl El Mahalla and Smouha, which concludes the round.
Friday marks the very first match of the new English Premier League season, with last season’s champion, Liverpool, facing Bournemouth at Anfield at 10pm.
The most pivotal match taking place on Saturday will see Manchester City and Wolverhampton face off at 7:30pm.

Barcelona will kick off their season with an away match against Real Mallorca at the Estadi Mallorca Son Moix at 8:30pm on Saturday. Meanwhile, Bundesliga fans are in for the German Supercup between league champions Bayern Munich and DFB-Pokal champions Stuttgart, which takes place on Saturday at 9:30pm.
