📺 A blend between sci-fi, action, thriller, and romance. The Gorge follows rival snipers stationed on opposite sides of a mysterious chasm. Directed by Scott Derrickson, the film is quite the genre mashup, featuring themes of forbidden love, covert operations, and supernatural horror.

The plot: Levi (Miles Teller) and Drasa (Anya Taylor-Joy) are both elite snipers assigned on opposite sides of a remote, heavily secured gorge — a secret job that not even the president is aware of. The orders are simple: maintain the posts, ensure nothing escapes, and most importantly, do not communicate with the other side. But as we all know, isolation breeds curiosity, and soon enough, Levi and Drasa start exchanging messages. As their connection intensifies, so does the threat lurking below — forcing the pair to fight for survival.

Both actors bring effortless charisma to their role. Taylor-Joy in particular offers an incredible performance — balancing toughness with a sly sense of humor. The sequence of events is intriguing and does not shy away from being too over-the-top, making it a fun watch.
