Joe’s offers tenders and sandwiches — with four meal options that combine the two. We opted for Joe’s #3, which includes one tender and one sandwich. These were served with dry slaw, pickles, and Joe’s special sauce. The chicken — both the tender and the one in the sandwich — was irresistibly crunchy and well-spiced, accompanied by fresh vegetables. The sauce was tangy and somewhat sweet, making it the perfect addition to the meal.

Pick your heat. While ordering, you’re asked to choose between six spice levels. We opted for the third from the bottom, mild. This one gave a kick of spice without overpowering the flavors. More intense options include “extra hot” and “reaper” for those who enjoy burning their tongues off.

Can I get a side with that? We went for a side of mac and cheese and it was deliciously creamy and cooked to perfection.
