? Imagine a world where everyone gets a superpower at 18… except you. Extraordinary is humorous, chaotic, and a little heartbreaking. From flight to turning objects into PDFs, the series is filled with a weird variety of powers that reflects both the mundane and extraordinary struggles of adult life — and Jen is still waiting for her power in a world brimming with them.

Jen’s life is a mess. She (Máiréad Tyers) works at a costume shop run by a boss stuck in her childhood body, her love life is disastrous, and her flatmates — best friend Carrie (Sofia Oxenham) who summons the dead and Carrie’s boyfriend Kash (Bilal Hasna) who rewinds time — only add to her frustrations.

Jen’s powerlessness isn’t just literal, it’s metaphorical. She’s stuck while everyone else seems to be flying ahead. Whilst trying to save up money for a clinic that promises to unlock her powers, Jen deals with odd and overpowered characters, including a shape-shifting stray cat (Luke Rollason) with an unfortunate name.

It’s full of laughs and relatable moments for anyone who’s ever felt like they’re falling behind in life. Though the story drags at times, Jen's energy and the quirky world keep it fun with moments about figuring life out — perfect for next weekend’s binge.
