The trigger: Rhiannon (Ella Purnell) is a fragile young girl living a sad life. Her relationship with her sister is crumbling, her managers at work treat her with contempt, and strangers make her feel practically invisible. To alleviate her feelings of helplessness, she makes a list of people she would like to kill, starting with the intrusive men on public transportation and ending with Julia (Nicole Leckie), her childhood bully. When the pent-up anger inside her erupts, Rhiannon commits her very first crime.

Purnell’s portrayal of Rhiannon's complex nature was convincing to the point where the viewer shifts between sympathy and hatred for her. The series is fast-paced with only six episodes, which leaves no room for filler scenes, and has you on the edge of your seat until the very end. The work received deserved praise for being “ one of the best of its kind ”, thanks to its thrilling nature that is accompanied by attention grabbing dark humor.
