Everything seems normal at first. Married couple Ning (Nittha Jirayungyurn) and Kwin (Sukollawat Kanarot) decide to rent out their home to support themselves and their young daughter Ing (Thanyaphat Mayuraleela). They move into a condo where they meet their new tenants Ratree (Penpak Sirikul) and her daughter Nuch (Namfon Pakdee).
When Ing is gifted a Guri doll for her birthday, things quickly turn sinister. Strange occurrences start to plague the family, and the plot thickens as the audience is introduced to the bizarre behavior of Ratree and Nuch and the dark history of their home. We see actions influenced by past traumas arise and the film suddenly becomes relatable to normal life outside of the fictional realm of cults and creepy dolls. Which makes sense since it is, after all, based on a true story.
