Egypt's stern rebuttal to Israeli claims of arms smuggling into Gaza was the talk of the town on last night’s airwaves.

“These actions gravely and seriously threaten the Camp David Accords,” State Information Service head Diaa Rashwan told Kelma Akhira host Lamees El Hadidi, pointing to Israeli allegations that weapons are being smuggled through tunnels into Gaza from Egypt (watch, runtime: 13:36). “After Israel got stuck in its Gaza quagmire, it started throwing accusations against Egypt, as a justification for occupying the Philadelphia Corridor,” Rashwan added, warning Israel that violating the Camp David Accords will have consequences.
