The Secret Dinner club, or Da’wa Khaasa, is all about delicious food, intimate conversations and exquisite locations. This social program invites its guests to a chic dinner table for a gastronomical affair while having revealing conversations. Chef Mirette Ali, (daughter of iconic Egyptian actress Sherine) is a professional cook, restaurateur, and the program’s host. She sets the menu items and passionately prepares the dinner with her team. Usually at the head of the table, Mirette leads the conversation, introducing the guests to each other and poses the questions as they dine. The venue is always a mystery for the guests as they do not know where they are going until they arrive, and they are usually iconic or unusual spots in the United Arab Emirates. Expect each episode to carry a specific theme, discuss a certain topic, and have a unique menu which creates a tantalizing and insightful experience. The guest list isn’t full of strangers — expect to find a selection of celebrities, influencers, fashion stylists and TV hosts from Egypt and the entire Middle East.
