Madbouly pledged Egypt’s support of the Palestinian issue, according to the statement, which carried few details about the talks. Agreements were signed that will see the two sides cooperate on agriculture and the Egyptian Foreign Ministry provide political consultations to the Palestinian Authority. Shtayyeh was in Egypt for a three-day visit that concluded yesterday.
