Supernatural occurrences unfold in Room 207 of a hotel in Marsa Matrouh in the 60s. The thriller series, which is based on Ahmed Khaled Tawfik’s novel of the same name, follows Gamal (Mohamed Farrag) as he starts a new gig as a hotel receptionist and begins hearing whispers about the mysterious Room 207. Gamal becomes fixated with finding out the truth and ventures into the room, despite all the warnings that all those who do so leave physically unscathed but incur psychological trauma that can be fatal. The series’ ensemble cast includes Riham Abdel Ghafour, Nardeen Farag, Mourad Makram, Mariam Alkhosht, Asmaa Galal, and Mohamed Mamdouh. The first seven episodes of the 10 part series are available to stream on Shahid.
