Dominating the conversation on Egypt in the foreign press this morning: 21-year-old Ahmed Bassam Zaki was sentenced yesterday to eight years in prison for assaulting and blackmailing three minors. The ex-AUC student, who in July confessed to serially abusing a number of women following his arrest, was sentenced to three years in prison for blackmailing and [redacted] harassing two women on social media, and was also facing separate charges of assaulting three minors.
