The detention and later release of Mada Masr Editor-in-chief Lina Attalah dominates the conversation on Egypt in the foreign press this morning. Attalah was detained for several hours yesterday after interviewing the mother of jailed activist Alaa Abd El Fattah, Laila Soueif, outside Torah Prison. Attalah was held at a police station in Maadi, but was released on EGP 2k bail yesterday evening.
