Thyssenkrupp has won a major engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) contract from Egyptian chemical and fertilizer manufacturer El Nasr Company for Intermediate Chemicals (NCIC) to build a new fertilizer complex in Ain Sokhna, it announced in astatement. Thyssenkrupp said that the contract’s value is in the “mid-three-digit mn euro range”. The new complex is expected to be operational by 2022. The German conglomerate is already working on a fertilizer plant in the Ain Sokhna area, which is scheduled for completion this month.
