Saudi logistics service provider Globe Group is eyeing Damietta Port as its entry point into Egypt, the Damietta Ports Authority (DPA) said in a statement following a meeting between a delegation of senior executives from Globe and the DPA. The delegation is particularly interested in usufruct rights to manage and operate the new EGP 1.3 bn multipurpose platform set to be inaugurated next month at the port.
