Gov’t can’t impose coercive policies to contain population growth

The government can’t coercively contain population growth, so awareness campaigns are our best bet: Egypt can’t mimic India’s mass sterilization program or China’s one-child policy to contain population growth because of the religious and ethical implications, but we still need to get our population boom under control, Sahar El Gaara writes for Al Masry Al Youm.
