Egyptian archaeologists are digging away in Dahshur to unearth what might have been Ancient Egypt’s first smooth-sided pyramid. The remains were discovered near the royal necropolis in the south of Cairo and are believed to have belonged to 13th dynasty king Imni Kamao, whose name archaeologists found engraved on the walls and pillars in the corridor leading to the insides of the giant structure.
