Checkout.com gets the green light for UAE card issuing
UK-based Checkout.com received an in-principle approval for a Stored Value Facilities (SVF) license from the Central Bank of the UAE (CBUAE), it said in a press release. The firm will be able to offer card-issuing services alongside its existing payment processing platform.

Checkout.com is delivering on its plans: Last year, the digital payments services provider announced plans to expand its card-issuing capabilities in the UAE, with a target launch by 2026. It aimed to issue branded physical or virtual cards, manage rewards, and simplify B2B payouts.
