What we know: The project will support OFC’s operations specializing in manufacturing offshore rigs and offers offshore logistics support to drilling contractors, offshore platforms, and subsea pipeline projects, the statement notes. The firm has strategically made Ras Al-Khair Port its operational hub due to close proximity to the world’s largest offshore field Safaniyah and the biggest full-service marine yard in the region, King Salman International Complex.
GWC’s been active this month: GWC will serve as an anchor tenant in a project being developed by European real estate developer Panattoni’s Saudi arm and Bahrain’s GFH Financial Group premium logistics. The project will see premium logistics facilities worth SAR 2 bn (USD 500 mn) developed in Riyadh, Jeddah, and Dammam.
