Qatar + Morocco look to boost transport ties: Qatari Transport Minister Jassim Al Sulaiti met with Moroccan Transport and Logistics Minister Mohammed Abdeljalil on the sidelines of TransMEA to discuss enhancing transport ties between both countries, according to a statement. The pair also discussed increasing cooperation in logistics services, commercial ports and civil aviation.

Afghanistan’s new Taliban government visits Tehran for the first time to discuss economic collaboration: Representatives from Iran and Afghanistan gathered at a joint economic and trade commission meeting in Tehran, where they discussed the formation of joint working groups for the trade, transit, customs, and transportation sectors, Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) reported. The officials also discussed plans to form more working groups to identify challenges to economic cooperation between the two countries.
Afghanistan is also looking to increase its trade through Iran’s transit routes, including the Chabahar Port and Bandar Abbas, Baradar is quoted as saying by semi-official news agency Tasnim.
