The Isle of Man Ship Registry (IOMSR) has appointedRakesh Yadavas its Middle East representative, where he brings over 30 years of shipping industry experience, according to a press release. Yadav’s new development role at IOMSR encompasses raising the registry’s profile, starting conversations with ship owners and operators across the region, and help develop its presence in the MENA region, according to the release. Yadav formerly worked at Great Eastern Shipping in India, Northern Marine Management Stena, as well as holding senior management roles at Bahri and Dubai’s Emarat Maritime. He also founded his own consultancy business in Dubai, SeaLogic Shipping, according to the press release.
