Saudi’s Transport and Logistics Ministry has inaugurated the new Starlinkshybrid automated logistics center in Riyadh,the ministry said in a statement. The hybrid logistics facility will utilize robotics, manual picking systems, and sorting functions, with some 250 helping with handling and sorting shipments, the statement said. The facility can process 120k products per day, it added.

The details: The USD 26.65 mn center was created in collaboration with Hong-Kong based Geek+ for automation technology and is set to process 3.6 mn unit orders per month, Zawya reported earlier, citing a Starlinks statement. Its storage area spans 400k square feet, the statement added.
