FedEx Corphas appointedJohn W Dietrich (Linkedin) as its executive vice president and chief financial officer effective 1 August, replacing Michael C. Lenz (Linkedin), who will serve as a senior advisor until the end of the year, according to a statement. Dietrich will bring over 30 years of air cargo and aviation experience, including 20 years as president and CEO at Atlas Air Worldwide. The company has also made changes to its finance organization. FedEx recently announced plans to reduce expenses and restructure the firm amid a changing economy.
