Boeing is trailing behind Airbus on aircraft deliveries this year: Boeing delivered over 50 airplanesto buyers in May, up from 35 in April, but the aerospace giant still lags behind rival Airbus in terms of aircraft handed over this year, CNBC reports. This puts Boeing’s total aircraft deliveries for the year at 206, behind Airbus’ 244 deliveries so far this year, the business newswire reports. The aircraft manufacturer has suffered from several setbacks this year, as it attempts to keep pace with rebounding demand due to the busy summer travel seasons and the effect of the lifting of covid-19 restrictions.
