Etihad Cargo has rolled out AI-powered solutions to optimize cargo capacity and increase efficiency, according to a press release. The step follows the conclusion of a proof-of-concept agreement with Singapore-based Speedcargo Technologies that saw Etihad Cargo run successful trials of the company’s AI logistics solutions. The freight carrier will introduce three AI products — Amplifi, Cargo Eye, and Assemble. Ampfil allows Etihad to optimize cargo loads on its trips while Cargo Eye and Assemble smoothe operations relating to ground handling. Etihad Cargo’s ground handlers in Singapore have already started using the new AI tools, and the company plans to extend their use globally, the press release explained.
