Saudi game developer Ash Games raises USD 1.5 mn

Saudi game developer Ash Games raised USD 1.5 mn in a seed round, led by Merak Capital and Impact46 through the Merak Gaming Fund, according to a press release. The fresh funds will allow the company to scale its production pipeline and bring Saudi-developed games to a broader global audience. It will also help it expand its development capabilities and its team.

About the company: Founded by Anas Bakhsh (LinkedIn), Yaser Alahmadi (LinkedIn), and Saud Bakolka (LinkedIn), Ash Games develops action-adventure titles for PC and consoles inspired by Saudi Arabia’s history and folklore. Its flagship title, Nomad, an action-adventure roguelite game based on Ancient Arabian mythology, is slated for a 2027 release. The studio’s second game, Azooma Escape, is a stealth-comedy game inspired by everyday Saudi life.
