Saudi Research and Media Group’s subsidiary Taoq Public Relations Company sealed a one-year SAR 240 mn contract for visual platform content with an unnamed company specializing in publicity, advertising, and public relations, it said in a disclosure to Tadawul yesterday.
REMEMBER: Taoq signed a three-year contract worth SAR 252 mn annually with an unnamed commercial company for the same purpose in April. During the same month, SRMG launched a new media solutions company, SRMG Media Solutions (SMS), to serve as the exclusive media sales representative for SRMG’s portfolio.

REAL ESTATE-
Seef + AWJ team up for Riyadh project: Bahrain-based real estate developer Seef Properties signed an MoU with local AWJ Real Estate to develop a large mixed-use project in Riyadh’s Al Rabwa development, it said in a press release yesterday. Seef will lead the development, while both companies will jointly handle planning and execution.
More details: The project will span around 160k sqm and include residential units, offices, restaurants, cafes, and entertainment venues, and has already delivered 3k homes in earlier phases, with over 7k more planned in upcoming phases.

Yamama, Obeikan, Sultan Holding metal investment JV hits a wall: YamamaCement failed to reach a final agreement with Obeikan Investment Group and Sultan Holding Company (SHC) to form a holding company aimed at investing in metal industry, it said in a Tadawul disclosure yesterday.
IN CONTEXT- In December 2024, a non-binding MoU — valid through June 2025 — was signed between the three firms to launch a JV focusing on lithium, graphite, and silica production, among others.
AVIATION-
National flag carrier Saudia’s Al Fursan Loyalty Program partnered with loyalty solutions provider Merit to launch its e-store Al Fursan, allowing users to redeem miles for a host of products, it said in a statement earlier this week. Financial details remain undisclosed.
ICYMI- Last month saw Saudia inaugurate direct flights to four new global destinations — Al Alamein in Egypt, Salalah in Oman, Vienna in Austria, and Venice in Italy.
