BlackRock appoints Dubai-based lead for digital assets

BlackRock has tapped Dixit Joshi (LinkedIn) to lead its Middle East Technology and Advisory Solutions, and Digital Assets team as managing director, according to a press release. Joshi will be based in Dubai in the new role and focus on expanding BlackRock’s capital markets, technology, and digital assets strategy in the region.

Joshi is a veteran of the financial services industry whose 30+ year career includes tenures as CFO at Credit Suisse, as Group Treasurer at Deutsche Bank, and managing director at Barclays Capital. He’s also held board positions at the likes of Nedbank and Man Group.
