President Mohamed bin Zayed meets with Egypt’s Sisi: President Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan met with President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi of Egypt in Cairo, state news agency Wam reports. The Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation (FANR) hosted a Chinese delegation to discuss cooperation in nuclear regulation led by Dong Baotong, Vice Minister of China’s Ministry of Ecology and Environment and Administrator of the National Nuclear Safety Administration (NNSA) in Abu Dhabi, Wam reports. The discussions with Abdulla Nasser Al Suwaidi, Chairman of the Federal Authority for Nuclear Regulation, focused on nuclear safety, security, non-proliferation, and regulatory frameworks, as well as collaboration in research, capacity building, and knowledge exchange. The visit follows a 2024 three-year action plan and a 2018 MoU between the two countries.
