MSC acquires majority stake in air freighter AlisCargo Airlines + Yellow files for bankruptcy

MSC has acquired a majority stake in Milan-based air freight carrier AlisCargo Airlines , with plans for a full takeover by early 2024 once AlisCargo restarts operations with the delivery of a Boeing 777F, according to a press release. The move aims to strengthen MSC Air Cargo operations, establishing a European hub and transit point for its solutions and enhancing trade lane network coverage.
