UAE, Vietnam discuss boosting trade and investment: UAE’s Foreign Trade Minister Thani Al Zeyoudi met with Vietnam's Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh to ramp up bilateral trade and investment ties, focusing on logistics, manufacturing, technology, and renewable energy, Wam reported earlier this week. Discussions regarding the expansion of non-oil trade — which reached USD 6.1 bn in 1H 2024 — were on the agenda.

REMEMBER- The two countries aim to finalize the terms of a trade and economic partnership agreement by the end of the year which seeks to expand economic cooperation between the two countries.
