Al Masaood CV&E get distributorship for Dongfeng trucks: Emirati Al MasaoodGroup unit Commercial Vehicles & Equipment (CV&E) has obtained exclusive UAE distributorship rights for trucks by Chinese automobile manufacturer DongFeng Commercial Vehicles under Dongfeng Automobile Corporation, according to a press release. The agreement will enable Al Masaood CV&E to distribute Dongfeng’s commercial vehicles, including heavy, light, and medium-duty trucks, in the UAE. The introduction of seven new truck models, including two advanced EVs, represents an expansion for Al Masaood from only heavy-duty to also include light and medium-duty trucks, according to the release.

Infobip opens its first data center in KSA: Croatian global cloud communication platform Infobip has launched its first data center in Saudi Arabia to help businesses in the Kingdom engage with customers “at every touchpoint of their journey,” according to a press release. The investment ticket for the data center has not been revealed. The center will host and process data within KSA in line with international security standards and will provide scalability and reliability to serve the needs of businesses from various industries with low latency delivery rates, the release explains. Infobip will provide a range of services in the Kingdom including Software as a Service (SaaS), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), Communication Platform as a Service (CPaaS), and voice solutions, according to the release.
