Global avionics leader Embention and Dubai-based Urban Air Mobility Eanan are setting up a joint venture to manufacture 3k Veronte Autopilots per year, with an initial investment of USD 5 mn, according to a press release. The agreement will serve Eanan’s fleet of unmanned aircraft, which are designed and produced in Dubai. It also covers the manufacturing of Embention’s Veronte autopilot system — which is the core flight control system for Eanan’s aircraft — in Dubai.
About the aircraft: The S-700 unmanned aircraft have a payload capacity of up to 200k, the release adds. The aircraft will enable the transport of heavy loads between cities which will boost logistics efficiency, according to the release.
REMEMBER- Eanan launched its unmanned aircraft for the first time at the Dubai Airshow: The company launched what it said was the first locally produced unmanned aircraft in Dubai in a bid to become the first commercially operating air mobility company in the emirate.
