DP World to boost warehouse capacity in Australia: DP World is looking to “almost double” warehousing capacity at the Stockland’s Yennora Distribution Center in Western Sydney, Daily Cargo News (DCN) reported, citing company statements. Dubai’s port operator is looking to add three warehouses with a total area of 45k sqm to the intermodal facility as it looks to expand its global operations and establish itself as “a customer-centric, end-to-end supply chain solutions provider.” The new facilities will be operated in partnership with Australian logistics outfit AWH, DCN wrote.

What they said: “By boosting our logistics capabilities and integrating our infrastructure we will create a contract logistics hub in one of the largest intermodal terminals in the region to enable stronger and more efficient supply chain solutions for our customers. This project will create significant value for the existing tenants, as well as attracting other importers and exporters that will benefit from a seamless supply chain from factory floor to customer door,” DP World Asia Pacific CEO and managing director Glen Hilton said.
