Tunisia has partnered with Hungarian company Ganz to modernize its railway network, Hungary’s Secretary of State for International Communication Zoltán Kovács said on X. The agreement, which follows a year of record trade between Tunisia and Hungary that saw exchanges top USD 270 mn, aims to enhance connectivity and transport efficiency in Tunisia through large-scale railway infrastructure and fleet modernization projects, Kovács said. The agreement includes potential cooperation in agriculture, the food industry, agricultural science, and water purification, further strengthening bilateral relations.
