The UAE’s Etihad Cargo has entered into a partnership with Awery AviationSoftware to boost its charter service capabilities, according to a press release. The partnership will see Etihad Cargo adopt a tailored version of Awery's Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system for its Cargo Chartering Programme, enhancing operational efficiency, responsiveness, and customer service. The ERP system will also allow Etihad Cargo to categorize and prioritize charter queries, strengthen analytics and data storage for performance evaluation, and enhance pricing capabilities. The move will help the company meet boosted demand for charter services on the back of a boom in e-commerce.

Emirates SkyCargo goes live on cargo.one: Emirates SkyCargo is now available on cargo.one, allowing customers to see Emirates SkyCargo schedules, rates, and real-time capacity while enabling instant bookings, according to the Dubai Media Office.

Saudi-based supply chain firm Starlinks has inked a MoU with IoT Squared to modernize supply chains operations with smart technology in KSA, according to a pressrelease. The firms look to enhance operational efficiency by implementing AI in warehouse automation, developinging “smart warehouses” with IoT technology, and optimizing data across the supply chain, while leveraging analytics in decision making to ensure a competitive advantage in the market.
