Emirates airport services provider Dnata bagged the international Air Transport Association’s (IATA) Centre of Excellence for Independent Validators (CEIV) accreditation, according to a press release. The accreditation acknowledges the safe handling of lithium batteries, and confirms compliance with safety protocols and regulatory standards on the transporting potentially hazardous materials, the statement said.
Air cargo express delivery giant FedEx Express has been named the Express Logistics Company of the Year at the Logistics Middle East Awards 2024,according to a press release. FedEx received recognition for its continuous investments in the region, backing of small and medium-sized businesses (SMEs), and sustainability drives.
Jordan’s Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) has been named the Middle East’s Best Airport by Size and Region,according to a statement. The award was granted by the Airports Council International World,based on a 2023 Airport Service Quality survey, according to a press release. This is the eighth time the airport has taken the award.
