Qatar and Iran signed an MoU to strengthen ties in trade, industry, and energy at a meeting of the Iran-Qatar Joint Economic Cooperation Commission, semi-official news agency Mehr reports. Iran’s Energy Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian and Qatar’s Commerce and Industry Minister Mohammed Al-Thani vowed to enhance cooperation in banking, ins., customs, freezones, and investment.
