Qatar and Iran signed an MoU to strengthen ties in trade, industry, and energy at a meeting of the Iran-Qatar Joint Economic Cooperation Commission, semi-official news agency Mehr reports. Iran’s Energy Minister Ali Akbar Mehrabian and Qatar’s Commerce and Industry Minister Mohammed Al-Thani vowed to enhance cooperation in banking, ins., customs, freezones, and investment.

Lots of trade cooperation talks at the Doha Forum: Qatar Chamber Chairman Khalifa bin Jassim al Thani held separate meetings with officials from Nepal, Uzbekistan, and Jordan on the sidelines of the Doha Forum to discuss boosting trade and economic relations, QNA reports.
