GWC inaugurates chemical storage and distribution warehouse:Qatari logistics and supply chain solutions provider GWC has launched its new chemical logistics center, located inside the logistics village in Doha’s Industrial Area, according to a statement.

Details: The facility, spanning 16k square meters, will cater to manufacturing, contracting, automotive, and development industry clients. The warehouse will facilitate both chemical and air-conditioned pallet storage of gasses, flammable liquids, flammable solids, oxidizing agents, toxic substances, corrosive substances, and dangerous goods.

The warehouse has a ton of health and safety features: GWC has equipped the logistics center with fire mitigation measures, leakage containment pits, CCTV surveillance and “ATEX-certified-explosion-proof electrical and mechanical fittings,” the statement says.

What they said: “The strategically located warehouse and distribution center will boost numerous businesses, including a host of micro, small, medium, and large enterprises,” said GWC CEO Ranjeev Menon.
