Abu Dhabi Customs unveils new digital platform to speed up procedures: Abu Dhabi Customs has introduced a new digital platform — dubbed Trade chain — that is integrated with global trade blockchain platforms, Wam reports. The platform should improve customs operations, enhance the reliability of information sources, improve the ability to monitor shipments, as well as assimilate information swiftly via a secure platform. The platform should also speed up data exchange and the clearing of goods by up to 80%.

Egypt has signed several agreements at the BRI Forum:Egyptian aviation companies have signed three framework agreements with China’s largest construction company to upgrade two of the country’s airports, the cabinet said yesterday. Under the agreements, the China State Construction Engineering Corporation will construct a new passenger terminal at Hurghada Airport and the two would develop Cairo International Airport including by building a new hangar.
