UAE + South Korea wrap up CEPA negotiations: The UAE’s Foreign Trade Minister Thani bin Ahmed Al Zeyoudi and Korean Trade Minister Dukgeun Ahn have concluded negotiations on a CEPA agreement between the two countries, Emirati news agency Wam reports. The CEPA aims to reinforce East-West supply chains, ease two-way FDI flows, and increase joint research and expertise exchange across several sectors. The two countries also inked an MoU to boost bilateral air transport cooperation, which includes increasing national carrier flights between them to 21 flights per week.

Saudi Arabia + Turkey look to enhance transport and logistics ties: Saudi Transport and Logistics Minister Saleh bin Nasser Al Jasser met with Turkish Transport and Infrastructure Minister Abdul Qadir Oral Oglu to discuss strengthening transport and logistics cooperation, according to a statement. Al Jasser also visited Turkey’s Ambarli port and discussed boosting maritime and logistics ties between both countries with Turkish officials, according to a separate statement.
