Iraq want s to overcome dispute with Kuwait over marine navigation: Iraqi Prime Minister Mohammed Shia Al Sudani said Iraq is ready to resolve the dispute with Kuwait over marine navigation in the Khor Abdullah waterway, according to a statement by the PM’s office. The PM said the country is looking for a viable solution that aligns with both its constitution and international law, according to Reuters.

REMEMBER- Earlier this month, the Supreme Court in Iraq ruled the 1993 agreement governing the waterway was unconstitutional because it should have been ratified by a two-thirds majority of the Iraqi parliament rather than a simple majority. GCC countries, along with the US, have since been calling for a clear resolution to address the potential negative repercussions of the annulment of the law.
