Arametc will deploy Zebra’s warehouse automation solution : Emirati food supplier Arametc will deploy a warehouse automation system provided by UAE-based digital solutions provider Zebra, according to a press release. The new solution, which is being implemented in response to growing customer needs and changes in its supply chain, will be deployed at Arametc’s distribution centers for inbound and outbound material management applications in Dubai and Abu Dhabi. The move aims to increase its worker productivity by 14%.

Iraqi ports to deploy smart buoys: Iraq has signed an agreement with an undisclosed Turkish company to install smart buoys for its ports, Iraqi daily Al Sabah quotes Director of the General Company for Ports Farhan Al Fartousi as saying. The company is also in talks with American firms over new buoys. These buoys, equipped with sensors and cameras, will enable Iraq to better monitor pollution, temperatures, sea currents, and weather conditions, and will support Iraq's post-war plans to modernize its ports.

DATA CENTERS-

India-based Aquatech Systems is partnering with Saudi’s DataVolt Information Technology Company to design, construct and operate sustainable data centers following the G20 Summit in New Delhi, according to a press release. Under the agreement, the companies will equip the data centers with cooling systems that minimize CO2 emissions.
