Mitsui OSK Lines and Shell Marine partner on marine sustainability: Japanese transport company Mitsui O.S.K. Lines, and Shell Marine Products Singapore, a division of Shell Eastern Trading, inked an MoU to advance alternative maritime solutions and address carbon emissions, according to a press release. As part of the agreement, both companies will engage in trials to assess the feasibility of bio- and synthetic fuel alternatives as pragmatic routes toward decarbonization.
Flexport founder Ryan Petersen has taken back control of the company after former Amazon executive Dave Clark resigned as CEO due to disagreements over the company's direction and spending, the Wall Street Journal reports. Clark was asked to step down by the company’s board based on the fact that the company has increased spending without seeing returns in revenue under his leadership, the WSJ cites sources as saying.
