Saudi Arabia and Poland have signed an agreement to boost cooperation in air transport services, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.The agreement looks to establish regulatory frameworks, broaden the networks of KSA and Poland’s national carriers, bolster civil aviation strategy, and boost international cooperation in civil aviation. The framework is slated to increase the number of shared flights, up trade and tourism, and strengthen KSA’s standing as a global logistical hub, SPA wrote, citing statements by Saudi Arabia’s Minister of Transport and Logistical Services Saleh bin Nasser Al-Jasser.

This is part of a larger effort: The move is expected to contribute to the National Transport and Logistics Strategy’s aims of boosting air connectivity between the Kingdom and the rest of the world, with the goal of reaching 250 destinations and serving 330 mn passengers annually by 2030, Al-Jasser said.

Ras Al Khaimah ruler welcomes new UK ambassador and trade envoy: Ruler of Ras Al Khaimah Sheikh Saud bin Saqr Al Qasimi met with UK trade envoy Gareth Johnson and British ambassador Edward Hobart, Wam reports. The visit saw discussions on initiatives to boost bilateral cooperation.
